Grafton Banks Finance is working with a growing financial services business, based in Brighton, to recruit a Financial Accountant.

Working as part of a high calibre financial and technical accounting team this role will assist in the delivery of high quality financial and regulatory reporting.

We are looking for a part qualified or newly qualified accountant with a background in financial accounting. You could be working in industry currently or looking to make your first move from practice having recently qualified. Experience in the financial services industry would be an advantage but isn’t essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate completion and submission of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulatory reporting.
  • Completion of external reporting.
  • Completion of schedules for the annual and quarterly Solvency II (SII) reporting.
  • Preparation and submission of tax returns.
  • Preparation and submission of Office for National Statistics (ONS) returns.
  • Assist with the statutory and regulatory financial reporting process.
This role will offer hybrid working with 2-3 days expected in the office per week. Benefits include 25 days holiday, bonus scheme, pension, and medical cash plan.
