First and foremost, though you will also become involved in MI reporting, you will be tasked with taking ownership of all things financial accounting, including...

  • Preparing statutory accounts
  • Liaising with Auditors throughout the year
  • Preparing VAT returns and overseeing general tax compliance
  • Cash flow forecasts
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations

The ideal candidate for this role will...

  • Be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or coming towards the end of a qualification
  • Have experience of a financial accounting role in practice or industry (with exposure to VAT returns and statutory accounts)
  • Ideally have experience of working within a practice environment- in fact, those looking to take their first step (from practice) into industry will also be considered
  • Be available to start a new role in a month of being offered one (preferably sooner)
