The University of Manchester is looking for a Finance Officer to join the UMW Finance Team who are responsible for the complete oversight of the financial performance of all activities that UMW incorporates including liaising with Schools, Faculties and Central University teams as appropriate. The roles includes responsibility for the financial management of UMW UK and the respective subsidiaries and branches residing in the UK, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai.

The post holder will work with colleagues both within the UMW Finance team and wider Directorate of Finance to deliver a high quality finance support service to stakeholders. The delivery of this service will maximise our ability to financially plan, manage and monitor performance and sustainability.

  • The online interview may involve a test, presentation or assessment as part of the interview process. This could be in the form of a clerical or IT test or a requirement to deliver a short presentation. Full details will be confirmed to you by email.
  • After the interview you will be contacted as soon as possible, by either phone or email, to inform you whether or not you have been successful. We can provide feedback, if requested, following an interview.
