Job Title: Finance Officer (Part-time, 3-day work week)
Salary: £14.13 per hour, 8 hours per day
Location: Kinloch Rannoch
Reporting to: General Manager
Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week
Job Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Finance Officer, where integrity meets flexibility. With a 3-day work week, you’ll have the perfect balance to manage your professional and personal life, while earning £14.13 per hour. As a key part of our finance team, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining our financial health and ensuring the seamless operation of our financial transactions.
Key Capabilities:
- Proficiency in XERO financial software
- Expertise in creating and analyzing Excel spreadsheets
- Solid understanding of profit and loss accounts
- Unwavering integrity and commitment to confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Banking:
- Serve as the Administrator and Signee for the Bank of Scotland Club accounts, including signing cheques
- Manage subscriptions for XERO software, Credit Card, and Stripe cash handling
- Conduct daily banking activities and reconcile payments processed by Reception
- Maintain accuracy in financial records by verifying and reconciling transactions using XERO
- Handle petty cash and perform necessary transactions at the local post office
Suppliers:
- Generate new Nominal Codes for XERO
- Set up and oversee supplier accounts, including placing Purchase Orders
- Process incoming supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
Rentals:
- Oversee payment allocations from Rental Income
- Distribute rental income to owners and produce detailed spreadsheet reports
Assignations:
- Perform monthly reconciliations and handle funds transfer for lodge ownership changes
Other Duties:
- Occasionally cover Reception shifts
- Support office staff with tasks like mass mailing
- Manage Board expenses and liaise on Insurance matters
- Communicate any pressing financial concerns to the Club Chairman
