As their Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the major remit of financial operations, analysing data, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making to the Board. You will also collaborate closely with a number of cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance to drive business growth and profitability via up-to-date data and financial direction. But that’s not all. We’re not just looking for a Finance Manager for our client; we’re looking for someone with the potential to quickly rise to the position of Finance Director. - Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimise performance and drive growth.
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management, with a track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience in the fresh produce industry, agriculture or FMCG sectors preferred but not a necessity.
