About Our Client

A long-established and profitable company involved in the wholesale distribution of chemicals and mineral products. With an annual turnover is £12m, the business sells products sold to a wide range and size of customers that includes multi-nationals. Imports and Exports are a significant part of their operations.

Our client is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to take full control of the finance function and to also take the role of Office Manager overseeing the sales/purchasing admin staff based in Corby. The business use Access Accounting software and with cloud -based storage which allows them to become and almost entirely paperless office.


Job Description




The Financial Manager will need to have a high level of skill and experience in using computerised accounting and payroll software and others such as the Office 365 , Corporate Internet Banking and HMRC Digital Tax.


The Successful Applicant

Quarterly Management Accounts and Reports.

Monthly sales analysis reports and forecasted trading profits.

Daily cash and sales orders summary.

Full credit control. All aspects of debt collection, reviewing credit limits, approving, and setting up new accounts.

Setting up supplier and other payments through internet banking

Monthly Payroll using Access Payroll plus pensions and HMRC administration

Sales receipts to Sales Ledger

Purchase ledger. Invoice and payments processing

Nominal Ledger transactions

Quarterly on- line Vat submissions

Annual Budgets

Setting up new suppliers, customers and stock items.

Dealing with day to day financial queries raised by all other staff members

Providing auditors with year end financial accounts and support paperwork.

Group Life, Group Income protection and Private medical insurances administration

Company insurances.
