The Resolution Foundation is looking for a Finance Manager to provide proactive, efficient and effective financial management of the Foundation’s charitable resources. The post-holder will be a qualified accountant (or near qualified) and take responsibility for all financial processes, including bookkeeping, management reporting and assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts.
Working closely with the Director of Resources, the Finance Manager has day to day responsibility for the finance function, ensuring all transactions are managed in compliance with internal policies, relevant regulations and funders’ specifications. The role includes ensuring financial records are clear, complete and up to-date, budget preparation and monitoring, preparation of internal reports, and advising on appropriate ways to maintain and improve performance. The postholder will also have responsibility for the accounting requirements of our Workertech social investment fund, in
liaison with the Director of Ventures.
This is an exciting time to join the Foundation as we consolidate our internal procedures to meet the demands of recent expansion and an ongoing high-profile work plan. The role would suit an individual keen to develop their finance career within an economic and/or policy making environment. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, and experience of working within the charity sector is desirable. We also require excellent IT, organisation and time management skills,
a meticulous attention to detail, the ability to innovate and a commitment to the Foundation’s primary purpose.
The Resolution Foundation welcomes applications from all under-represented communities and groups. As part of our commitment to increasing diversity within both our own workforce and the economic policy making sector in general, we offer pre-application discussions to Black, Asian and other Minority Ethnic candidates and all candidates with disabilities who would like to speak to someone about the role in advance. Closing date: 08:59am on 16 March 2022
First and second interviews are expected to be held on 30 March and 4 April 2022 respectively.
