East Durham College is looking for an experienced and talented Accountant to lead and deliver the organisations daily operational finance activities, ensuring its strategic aims are met.

You will have strong leadership skills and proven experience in building cross functional, collaborative teams and environments. Driving excellence in business planning, financial management, business partnering and reporting requirements. You will also have experience of developing and implementing change and will play a pivotal role in the College Management Group. You will work closely with the Vice Principal of Finance, our partners and internal and external stakeholders and the role also includes some exposure to Board and other Committees.

We have 3 very different sites, our Peterlee campus, Our Houghall campus in Durham which offers land based qualifications and the Technical Academy also in Peterlee. This role will be predominantly based at our Peterlee campus.
