Your New Company

An established and exciting business based in Nelson, Lancashire are looking to appoint an ACCA / CIMA Qualified Finance Manager to join their team on a 12 month FTC.

Your new role

In your new role as Finance Manager, you will report into Head of Finance with responsibility for a small transactional team. Your role will involve reviewing and co-ordinating Management accounts, ensuring business transactions are conducted with the relevant accounting standards, preparing financial results weekly and monthly and preparation of Group Reporting, providing key commentary across statutory and management results. You will support the FD & Head of Finance with the preparation of quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts alongside reviewing the balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday on a 12 month fixed term contract.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

To be successful, you will be ACCA or CIMA Qualified with the ability to work well under pressure. You will be a strong, analytical candidate with excellent attention to detail and have experience in managing and developing a finance team. Experience of working in management accounts and accounts preparation is essential for this role.

What You’ll Get In Return

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £45,000 - £50,000 per annum. You will be based primarily from their head offices in Nelson, but have the option of hybrid working also. You will have 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), pension and onsite parking.
