Our Crop Nutrients business is creating a unique fertilizer project that will help the world grow more food in a better way. POLY4 is our flagship multinutrient fertilizer product. Made from Polyhalite, it contains four of the six macro-nutrients and many micronutrients that are essential to plant growth. It allows farmers to maximise their crop yield, increase quality and improve soil structure with one simple product.

Join us as a Finance Manager, where you will play a key role in the reporting of financial information into our Group organisation and liaising with internal and external audit partners.

Job description

Providing analysis and reports to enable the business to plan their resources to deliver the project on timely and safe manor. Also supplying up stream reporting to the wider Anglo group performance against objectives.

This role will prepare the internal management accounts for ex-co and steer-co and assisting with preparation of group reporting, whilst interacting with the wider Crop Nutrients finance business.

The Manager once Removed for this role is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective running of the finance department at Crop Nutrients and assist the wider ex-co team in the strategic direction of the BU.

• Providing financial information to management by compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans and financial statements.
• Managing budgets and producing accurate ad-hoc financial reports to specific deadlines.
• Maintaining accounting controls by designing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Reconciling financial discrepancies by analysing accounts.
• Assistance with the design and implementation of new systems to be adopted by the business.
• Assist with monthly reporting into Group.
• Provide ad hoc support to the wider finance team and other department heads.
• Assist the Financial Controller with the statutory reporting and group reporting templates to ensure they are up to date.
• Assisting our external auditor during the audit of the financial statements.

• Adept with software systems, particularly an advanced MS Excel user
• Experience of SAP preferable (S4 Hana)

Qualifications

ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant

Technical Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years post qualification experience
• Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
