Finance Manager |Wirral |£40,000 - £45,000The OpportunityAre you considering an interim assignment to start in the next couple of weeks?We are partnering with a successful, large scale and expanding group with a requirement for an experienced Accountant job join on a fixed term contract basis.You’ll be supporting the Head of Finance with a range of month end and year end related tasks - reviewing controls and processes, ensuring robust and tidy process across transactional finance.It’s a hands on role to ensure preparations ahead of year end close are smoothly managed and efficiently completed.This isn’t brutally technical accounting! You won’t be producing complex consolidated statutory accounts! It’s core accounting - ensuring accruals, prepayments and journals are accurate, investigating any transactional anomalies, casting a diligent eye across the balance sheet reconciliation - solid core accounting!Your input will be hugely valued and it’s a setting where people enjoy coming to work and there’s a genuinely positive culture.Immediate start, varied hands on project, great environment, varied role.You Need
  • To be a versatile accountant with strong core accounting skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to start a new contract in March / early April 2023.
  • Good Excel skills / IT literacy.
  • To be a proactive team player who will enjoy variety and a broad role.
