Finance Manager needed for our client based Newcastle, Staffordshire.

As Finance Manager You Will

Implement policies and procedures across the business.
Full responsibility for month end close down and management accounting.
Cash flow forecasting.
Maintaining fixed asset registers
Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliation’s
Preparing and submitting VAT returns and Sales lists in a timely manner
Liaising and working with auditors at the financial year-end to ensure a smooth year- end close
Bank reconciliation daily
Overseeing full ledger responsibility, checking purchase invoices, setting up payments in online banking, credit card reconciliation’s, and credit control for outstanding debtors

The Successful Candidate Will Have/be

Ensuring bank, sales and purchase ledgers are reconciled on a regular basis
Producing monthly management accounts (must be experienced in calculating Work In Progress)
Reporting on and managing cash flow
Managing credit control and liaising with clients
Setting up payment runs for suppliers and payroll
Monitoring and reporting of job costs whilst jobs are in progress
Liaising with external accountants
