We are working with an ambitious client in Coventry with a global reach who, due to retirement are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a home-based role, with regular meetings in their Coventry office.

You will be responsible for overseeing the finance for the company, which includes multiple P&L’s, whilst also liaising with foreign based accountancy firms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accurate financial controls in multiple currencies
  • Update all records and supporting documentation, ensuring transactions are compliant with legal requirements
  • Produce monthly management accounts and preparation for year-end processing
  • Cash management and control
  • Preparation and posting of all monthly prepayments, accruals, depreciations and deferred income
  • Reviewing all balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and submission of UK VAT returns
  • Support year end audits and preparations of year-end accounts
The ideal candidate will either be ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience and also have:
  • Extensive experience working within an accountancy role
  • Knowledge and working experience of Sage 50
  • Experience of working with multiple currencies
  • Analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communicator and influencer
