Finance Manager / Financial Controller - Retail - Wembley - £65,000 - £70,000 + strong bonus

My Retail client based near Wembley has a need for an experienced Finance Manager / Financial controller to lead their finance team and help implement new processes and procedures to help with their future growth plans. This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Qualified finance professional looking for their step up in finance.

  • Leading the finance team - 4 direct reports
  • Reporting to the Finance Director
  • Leading on the financial accounting and Management reporting .
  • Responsible for all aspects of the company’s day to day financial operations and accounting across the month
  • Control of the entire month end accounting and reporting process resulting in delivery of complete and accurate consolidated management accounts pack.
  • Ensure accurate cash flow management and company compliance through regular cash flow reporting and forward forecasting to the group.
  • Responsible for the annual company statutory audit, from liaising with auditors to ensure all reports and relevant information is provided in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for Internal audit compliance
  • Budgets and Forecasts
  • Group statutory accounts (interim and Yearly)
  • Standalone Business unit Financial statements
  • IFRS 16 Lease accounting
  • Ensuring VAT, PAYE and other taxes as relevant are paid in a timely manner.
  • Other ad hoc financial management tasks and support as required and overseeing all finance aspects of the business
