Page Executive are supporting this Leicester-based organisation to recruit a part-time Finance Director.

This is a well established company with a superb culture and impressive leadership team.

This service provider is seeking an FD to support the CEO and leadership team with strategic planning and commercial decision making in conjunction with the sound financial stewardship of the business.

Description

As Finance Director, you will report to the CEO and manage a finance team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Costings for ongoing contracts and new business opportunities
  • Cash-flow management and investment appraisal.
  • Lead the finance team on Annual Budget and Forecast activities. Includes doing detailed payroll modelling and analysis for input into main budget.
  • Annual audit. Organise timing and ensure all year end evidence prepared to a high standard in advance of the audit
  • Calculation of year end reserves.
  • Prepare papers and information as required for meetings of the full Board - Budget, Re-forecasts, Year End position, Remuneration Committee etc
  • Final review and sign-off of monthly management accounts.
  • Review detailed monthly payroll calculations.
  • Bid support. Prepare all financial data as part of the bids. Participate in planning
  • Management of company pension scheme
  • Overseeing the HR function

Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA< ACCA, CIMA) with a track record at FD or FC level within commercial environments.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as is a natural desire to have a broader involvement in running a business.

Please note this is a part-time position, on a 3 day p/week basis.

Job Offer

Full time equivalent salary of £65,000 - £75,000 + benefits
