Ignata Finance are currently hiring a key finance change position for one of our longest standing clients. Recruiting on both a permanent and interim basis we are looking for a technically strong accountant with experience in in finance change and R2R.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Play a lead role in the future Finance system implementation, from initial scoping and design through to implementation and post-go live support
  • Contribute to other significant system implementation projects (e.g. R2R, P2P, HRIS), playing an active role and ensuring all Finance requirements are met
  • Assess and develop other change opportunities, including early cost/benefit analysis
  • Ensure that the impact of change and timeline for implementation is proactively managed, and engagement with business areas is high
  • Deliver training to end users, explaining relevant changes between ‘as is’ and ‘to be’
  • Support the integration of business activities when required
  • Coach and develop junior members of the Finance Change team
  • Work closely with a range of functions across the Group to successfully deliver change (including IT, Business Efficiency, Operations, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills, Behaviours and Experience Required:

  • Relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Background working in large organisations, having played a major part in their change and transformation projects
  • Outstanding organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and timelines
  • Experience with SOx or other strong control environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, particularly with senior stakeholders
  • Able to work and deliver results in a fast moving and high-pressured environment with changing priorities
  • Experience in running workshops, delivering training, communications, etc.
  • Experience of implementing a new Finance system is essential.
  • Experience of business integrations is essential.

Package:

  • Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + Package
  • Interim day rate up to £800 per day (outside IR35)
