This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join the Ringway Jacobs Team in Crewe. The successful candidate will assist in the accounting and administrative tasks related to the efficient processing, timesheets, expenses, goods received notes, cost allocation, invoice queries, ledger reconciliations and other financial tasks as required. To contribute in the development of the finance department to ensure an excellence in processes and procedures.
The Role
  • Input GRNs on a regular basis to ensure timely recording of costs
  • Investigate invoice queries from the accounts payable department
  • Processing and posting of timesheets and expenses
  • Assist in end of month/year processes including preparation of reports
  • Fleet and plant allocation to project
  • Processing accruals and prepayments
  • Reconciling subledger to general ledger discrepancies
Job Description
About You
  • Experience in a Finance Assistant role preferable
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office D365 applications, Word, Excel, Outlook etc
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience of accounting software packages (Dynamics desirable)
