About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant - Income within the Finance team in Chippenham on a full time permanent basis. You will assist with the effective administration in the Finance Team. You will be responsible for rent accounting, banking and other financial matters.

The role includes carrying out other duties that will ensure maximum use is made of information systems within the department to continually improve the delivery of services. It will also involve processing data in a timely and accurate way to provide financial information to management, statutory bodies and regulatory authorities.

About You

It is desirable that the successful candidate will be AAT qualified or working towards their AAT qualification, or have the relevant equivalent experience and will have a good general education beyond GCSE including two or more A levels/NVQ3 or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level. You will have strong experience of working within a finance department including an understanding of financial ledgers, accounting entries, computerised accounts systems and IT applications. Good excel skills and experience of excel spreadsheets is also essential.
