Do you have at least 2+ years month-end experience? Looking for a highly analytical role which will see you working across multiple different financial systems? Interested in joining a fast-growing restaurant group in a highly pivotal reporting role? As a result of growth and success over the past 12 months, we are working exclusively with an iconic restaurant group based in NW London who are on the search for a part-qualified Finance Analyst to join their impressive finance function. Supporting the Finance Business Partner, this role will see you producing both regular and ad-hoc reporting, maintenance of finance systems along with assistance on the budget and quarterly forecasting process.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s spent the past two years working in a management accounting focused role that’s looking to transition into a more analytical role, or if you’ve started your career in a analytical role and enjoy the financial reporting and analysis side to finance.

As Finance Analyst you’ll be reporting into the Finance Business Partner and will be responsible for preparing the weekly and monthly packs for leadership meetings whilst maintaining their key financial systems such as Power BI, Fourth, Accounts IQ and maintaining concise reporting using consistent data.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Supporting on the monthly Labour and Cost of Sales analysis
  • Assistance with the annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting process
  • Assist with the design and maintenance of financial reports and dashboards to meet user needs
  • Work with the Finance Business Partner with improve processes and utilisation of systems

Ideal candidates will be highly numerate and analytical, with advanced MS excel and a good understanding of databases, data uploads, extraction and interfaces with other systems experience. You will be someone who’s actively studying a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA) who can undertake FP&A and business partnering effectively. Experience with Power BI (Desirable).
