With the team constantly evolving we are now looking for an exceptional Finance Analyst to join Freetrade. You will report directly to our Head of FP&A, working closely with the Senior Specialist FP&A and be responsible for business partnering key stakeholders, developing management information (MI) and working on our reporting processes. This is a key role as we run a lean high performing FP&A function.

You will:

Assist the Head of FP&A and the Senior Specialist to support the business including:
  • Building and owning the monthly MI analysis and reporting process as well as drive actions from this
  • Building budget and fundraising models with the Senior Specialist
  • Producing financial analysis including revenue, cost and KPIs of the business
  • Supporting financial aspects of our fundraising processes
  • Supporting capital and cash planning, scenarios and interaction with regulatory and treasury teams
  • Supporting on commercial finance activities and be a true business partner who will drive insight and value for the business - for example:
    • Engaging with product owners and commercial teams on new product initiatives, pricing and other similar commercial finance activities
    • Supporting to procurement initiatives and cost-efficiency
    • Spend reviews/investment cases
    • Business partnering with marketing team for KPI tracking and performance review
    • Anything else that adds value to the business

About you:

  • Have a degree in a relevant subject (STEM, Finance & Accounting, or Economics is seen as desirable). 2.1 or higher.
  • You are CIMA part qualified or a strong Graduate 1 - 2 years in your career and have a strong desire to undertake your accounting qualifications.
  • Have strong excel/ IT skills and are interested in learning new systems.
  • Are comfortable working with large data sets to identify trends and insight
  • Are analytical and detail-oriented, able to build and update models largely independently
  • Have a get-up and go attitude, desire to be a business partner and have the confidence to make us believe this.
  • Are curious and have strong problem solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and issues
  • Have the ability to understand the needs of the end users and pull information to their requirement
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and can work under pressure
  • You are commercially curious and are genuinely interested in the investment brokerage industry

The application process consists of a 4 stage process. You will initially have a phone interview with one of our internal Talent Partner, followed by a hiring manager screen interview with your potential manager, a task stage and final round values founder/value interviews
