Job Summary

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to help drive key profitability and Free Cash Flow (FCF) initiatives EU-wide. This is an opportunity to be part of Amazon’s growth story around the world, driving new initiative while addressing the unique challenges of doing business in different countries.

This position works closely with multiple stakeholders including the finance directors and country managers EU-wide, retail business leaders, project team and technical teams as well as other international teams for best practice sharing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing standardized input and output metrics reporting for each of the initiatives EU-wide
  • The role will partner with a number of retail and operations stakeholders
  • You will have responsibilities in identifying and sizing FCF improvement opportunities via continuous internal and external bench-marking.
  • You will plan financial impact as part of the yearly financial cycle and secure execution, supporting the coordination of business reviews for the different initiatives.
  • Conduct various deep dive and ad hoc analysis as needed for the projects
Key Skills And Experience
  • Highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and willingness to dive deep.
  • Experience in SQL or ETL
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related subject
  • Relevant experience, including finance deep dives and analysis
  • Advanced Excel, financial modelling and reporting skills required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (f.e., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, etc.)
  • Prior experience in commercial finance
