Overview

One of our longstanding clients is recruiting for a PART TIME finance administrator position, this role here will be getting involved with a range of finance tasks but what makes it so excited is that they are not requiring prior finance experience, they are open to transferable skills or relevant studies as the right person for them will come down to the attitude to learn and get involved! The role is a part time role as due to role deadlines they are only needing someone on a Monday and Tuesday, full days, which would make it perfect for a uni student or someone looking to juggle work and life. This role is a temporary position as the business have newly created that role and are wanting to find their feet with the role over a 3-6 month period - so please only apply if you are immediately available.

The role will be a mix of a few finance tasks, mostly you will be responsible for assisting the payroll team with processing timesheets and entering the hours into the finance system, after this you will be responsible for raising invoices for the timesheet hours, sending these out to clients. You will also then assist with chasing payments and allocating them as well once they come in. This role will give the right person some great finance exposure so if you think this role could be for you then please keep reading!

Skills Required

  • Be someone who is eager to learn and gain experience within a finance role!
  • Relevant knowledge and/or transferable skills such as data entry.
  • Be strong on Microsoft excel and familiar with finding your way around it.
  • Have strong attention to detail as well as being good with communication.
