SUMMARY ROLE OF FIELD SERVICE / SERVICE TECHNICIAN - POU (POINT OF USE):

We are recruiting for a Field based Technician / Service Technician, Self-starter, they would need to be technically minded, would suit a person who is competent with DIY and full training will be given.

This role will support the cost-effective delivery Field Operations activities, including site surveys, installations, repairs, services, exchanges and collections. Working in partnership with Scheduling and Service Centre Management you will ensure every scheduled activity is completed in a timely manner.

The Service Centre is located in Dewsbury and Technicians will have to report into the Service Centre on a weekly basis.

CORE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES OF FIELD SERVICE / SERVICE TECHNICIAN:
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of all scheduled activities to support delivery of our field operations targets. Ensuring the unit is working appropriately for the customers needs
  • As the face of Waterlogic in our customer sites, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service whilst undertaking your scheduled activities to support delivery of our customer satisfaction targets
  • Responsible for accurate and timely management/ storage of stock and inventory, ensuring you have sufficient parts to successfully conclude the activities you have been scheduled
  • Responsible for supporting your team and line manager in delivery of business objectives
  • Responsible for working closely with the necessary scheduling, operational management and support teams to ensure effective and efficient resolution of activity SLAs
  • Responsible for accurate and timely updating of relevant systems with key information to record the outcomes of scheduled activities and tracking of all mandatory KPIs
  • Responsible for personal compliance with, and suggesting improvements to, the end to end Field Operations processes, policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS OF FIELD SERVICE / SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

Essential
  • Full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points (none of which are for dangerous or careless driving)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience
  • Demonstrate experience in diagnosis and resolution of technical issues
  • Ability to work to a tight schedule
  • Demonstrate ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders
  • A proven track record of providing strong customer service
