Field Service Support Engineer Vacancy
Location: South, up to 50 miles of Basingstoke
Salary: Up to £39,500 per annum
Hours: 38.75 per week Monday to Friday - will be required to provide flexibility in additional hours

My client is National Commercial Vehicle/ Logistics organisation who have a first class history in providing their clients with a "Full Life Cycle" of Commercial/Logistic service on a regular basis.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable support engineer.

Roles & Responsibilities include;

*To ensure quality assurance and health and safety policies are implemented and adhered to at all times.
*To carry out technical review meetings with engineers.
*To provide Mobile Service Engineer cover during holiday and absence periods.
*Support members of the service department to facilitate and resolve any customer disputes regarding technical issues.
*To represent the companies Service Department in the ’field’ and to display the highest standards of; appearance, manner and technical ability.
*To work as an effective member of the Service Department.
*To undertake the tasks and assignments issued by the Service Support Controllers.
*To determine own repair and maintenance techniques, undertake equipment selection, proper materials and to implement the correct safety measures e.g. Eye Protection, suitable clothing etc.
*To perform all relative administrative procedures to acceptable standards.
*To perform all inventory procedures relative to the vehicle parts stock to maintain an accurate account of components carried and used.
*To ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and our Safe System of Work procedures.
*To understand the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and to work safely and co-operate to enable the client to fulfil its statutory obligations and that all staff are responsible for safety in their own working area.
*Attend all training courses / seminars as the business requires.
*To keep all company equipment in a clean, safe and presentable manner (i.e. company vehicles etc, etc).
*Company supplied equipment to be kept secure at all times.

The successful candidate must have experience in a similar roles for at least 2-3 years.
