A Field Engineer is required to join a busy and fast paced IT Managed Service Provider based in Orpington. The main focus of the Field Service role is to be responsible for identifying and resolving issues with client equipment and systems. You will be troubleshooting problems and providing onsite end-user support. Your main responsibility will be to maintain equipment, test machinery, install new technology, develop new systems and create reports. You MUST have a clean driving licence and be happy spending the majority of your time on Client sites resolving onsite issues. You must have strong communication skills, the ability to demonstrate great customer facing service, have great attention to detail and be a critical thinker. The successful candidate will ideally have 3 - 4 years’ experience of working as a Field Engineer and must have strong technical skills with a good ability to fault find and problem solve under pressure.
