The Field Service Engineer opportunity: Carry out the service and maintenance of reciprocating gas engines. Troubleshoot and repair to optimise engine performance. Fault find and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical engine components and auxiliary systems.Carry out scheduled & reactive maintenance to high company standards. Attend breakdowns of power generation sets to return engines to optimal working conditions in a timely and safe manner. The successful Field Service Engineer will possess: A strong mechanical background working with gas engines or diesel generators. Jenbacher, Cummins, MTU, Scania, MWM, MAN or CAT experience would be ideal!Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.Be a team player with a positive attitude!The flexibility to work paid overtime and participate in the on-call rota. Health & Safety awareness in the workplace. Full UK Driving License. No industry experience?You will have transferrable industrial engine experience from the HGV, Marines or Agricultural sectors.
