Field Engineer / Printer Support Engineer / Printer Audit / Desktop Support
Sussex
Company vehicle and fuel card provided
3 months initially + possible long term extension
£120 per day - Ltd company/Outside IR35 or Umbrella/PAYE

Role: We have a great opportunity for a Field Engineer who is comfortable working with printers.
You will be equipped with a company vehicle & fuel card and tasked with visiting different sites in Sussex for printer related matters.
If you are a Field Engineer with a varied desktop support background and only minor exposure to printers, that will be fine, as familiarity can be gained over time.
You can operate via Ltd company or Umbrella/PAYE for this assignment.

Duties: Initially you will be working on a printer audit (first 3 months), recording details of printers and their performance, liaising with users for their feedback, taking photos of the printers and recording details such as IP address, hostname etc. After this, the role is likely to extend for 12 to 24 months in the capacity of Field Support Engineer.

In accordance with Covid-19 health and safety measures, as Field Engineer, you will be interacting with a wide range of users, so strong communication and excellent customer service skills are required.

Requirements:
Commercial experience of desktop support or printer support
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain printers
Basic networking knowledge
Willingness to do the less glamourous tasks of IT, i.e. lifting / shifting
Excellent customer facing skills

Positive attitude, calm under pressure, great work ethic, strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
