My client requires experienced Fibre Planners and Senior Fibre Planners.
Fibre Planner role:
As Fibre Planner / Senior Fibre Planner you will be in charge of fibre/civils designs, as well as fibre-optic infrastructure. You will be required to work using agreed methodologies and ensuring that you work to agreed timescales.
Fibre Planner duties and responsibilities:
- To oversee/design and investigate:
- Civils and fibre works
- Civils and fibre optic infrastructure
- Cable laying techniques to reduce costs
- Forecast CAPEX and OPEX for designed projects.
- Produce detailed documentation of that design.
- Develop, implement and champion company network topologies.
- Ensure data quality within company assets and CMS.
- Drive quality, consistency, suitability and cost-effectiveness.
Fibre Planner Qualifications
Ideally have:
- GCSEs or equivalent to include Mathematics and English
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- NRSWA
