Our client is a multi award winning holiday park and leisure operation based in the heart of Somerset. They are currently looking to recruit a Group F&B Manager to join their senior management team.

We are looking for a self-motivated food and beverage expert with extensive experience of multi venue management across a variety of both food and drink retail offers, to take accountability for the smooth and successful running of the resort operations

The Role

Reporting to the Resort Directors you will be responsible for the delivery of food and drink quality and consistency across all designated outlets.

Ensuring statutory regulations relating to safe systems of Work, Health & Safety, Cleanliness, Hygiene, Fire and COSHH standards are met or exceeded.

Control and monitor financial performance of business area, in line with budget expectations.

Build, lead and manage a large effective team with clear development plans, ensuring measurable KPI’s are set in line with business objectives

Responsibility for planning and driving sales activity within the department. (Menu planning, outlet layout, styles of service, marketing and preopening planning and training).

Responsible for the cellar management of licenced premises to ensure our client deliver the perfect pint every time.

Ensuring a safe, compliant environment for the team and guests by ensuring processes are followed and gaps identified and escalated to resolution.

Ensuring guest satisfaction, managing the entire customer experience to exceed expectations.

Instilling a ‘can do’ culture across all areas of the operation, whereby the team are multiskilled and work across multiple units.

Keeping abreast of developments and trends in the industry, such as changes in regulations or eating preferences as well as monitoring the competition.

The Person- the successful candidate for this role will -

You will be expected to lead the team from the front and must be as happy front of house leading operations as you are developing menus and delivering the P&L.

Demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage operations with a focus on, standards and up to date awareness of the retail catering sector trends.

Have extensive experience of high volume, fast-paced food and beverage environment, ideally within the holiday/leisure/events sector.

Experience and understanding of the running of licenced premises.

Be financially aware with experience of budgeting, implementation and control of %GP with proven ability to maximise sales, cost control and increase profit.

Experienced in training, coaching and developing an operational team.

Hold Level 3 Food Safety Qualification
