Fast Cal Gas Account Manager

JOB PURPOSE
To drive sales growth in FastCal Gas as directed by Sales Manager, widening customer base, upselling and introducing new products and services to existing clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES / COMMITMENTS (DELIVERABLES & KPIs)

  • Have a strong working knowledge of the product to be able to provide fast and expert technical support to customers.
  • Consistently exceed and correctly record and track Sales Budget and KPIs.
  • Maintain strong, active working relationships with customers in the territory.
  • Process in the system and respond to all Level 2 customer RFQs and customer orders within territory.
  • Check all Level 1 customer RFQs before responding to customer.
  • Chase and close, by telephone, all quotes and opportunities within the territory with a value of less than $3000.
  • Chase required payments and/or addresses to dispatch orders in the territory with a goods value of less than $3000.
  • Liaise with suppliers and couriers to manage production and timely dispatch of orders.
  • Invoice all drop shipment orders within territory.
  • Proactively inform customers when spare parts are due.
  • Provide support to the territory BDM to identify any customer accounts with growth potential opportunities.
  • Consistently exceed 75% objective completion.
  • Liaise with and provide support to departments when necessary to ensure a perfect customer experience, including assist to resolve customer complaints in an efficient and professional manner.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A highly organised individual.
  • Experience of working effectively in fast-paced, innovative organisations.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Proven sales or sales administration experience.
  • Knowledge of gas detection and calibration products would be a distinct advantage

DESIRABLE

  • Languages are always helpful so if you are multi lingual please state all languages you can speak.
  • Gas experience, or a scientific background dealing with chemicals or chemistry
