Are you passionate about working with cattle and sheep? Do you have a strong background in livestock management? We are looking for an experienced and passionate Farm Stockperson to join our team at Northumberland College Further Education College at the Kirkley Hall campus. As farm stockperson you will play a vital role in the operation and management of our commercial farming activities.

Northumberland College, Kirkley Hall Campus benefits from a working farm and the extensive woods and natural environments of the Kirkley estates. Kirkley Hall works with local employers and is currently undergoing exciting developments in agriculture which are aligned to the delivery of T level provision.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing daily care, feeding and handling of cattle and sheep ensuring their welfare and health needs are met. They will assist in implementing and maintaining breeding programmes, collaborate with farm team to maintain facilities including regular cleaning and inspection. They will maintain accurate records for livestock as required and ensure compliance with health and safety regulation to promote a safe working environment.

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
