Bransby Horses was founded in 1968 by Peter Hunt, who’s lifelong passion for horse welfare continues as the charity works flexibly to meet the growing demands on horse welfare charities. Working together our shared mission is to create positive impacts on the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules.

Our Estates team provides high quality care of land across two large rural sites; creating appropriate and sustainable living environments for upwards of three hundred rescued equines.

As a Farm Mechanic for Bransby Horses, you will work independently and be responsible for ensuring functionality and good working condition of a large agri-fleet. This includes farm vehicles and machinery, equipment, towable implements and road vehicles used by the Estates and Equine Welfare Teams at both sites.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Agri-Mechanic however a wealth of practical experience (at least 3 years) with relevant training would also be considered. You will work collaboratively to conduct vehicle safety checks so a strong knowledge of health and safety is essential. Previous knowledge of grounds maintenance and farm work is also desirable.
