Miller’s Ark has been one of Hampshire’s most loved farms over 34 years and we now have a senior role available as our lovely farm manager of 14 years is leaving.

The full time position is to be the lead role in caring for a wide variety of farm livestock, driving daily routines, and ensuring the smooth running of a small friendly team.

You will have a passion for farming and a broad experience in people and livestock management.

You will be able, enthusiastic and pro active, happy to be fully involved ’hands on’ in every area of farm life - implementing our breeding programme; lambing, kidding, foaling etc; field maintenance and fencing; tractor work; open days with the public; cleaning out schedules.

You will also have responsibility for paperwork, online reporting and recording, and liaise closely with the owner.

You must have a full driving licence and be experienced in trailer driving. And you must have an intelligent and committed responsible attitude to handling, moving and medicating cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, equines and poultry.

Salary is based on age and experience for a 40 hour week.
