Job Title: Hatchery Operatives

Salary: £10.20 per hour PAYE

Location: Morpeth, Northumberland

Shifts: Start Between 03:00 - 06:00 and shift lengths vary

Job Type: Temp to Perm

No experience needed

Full time and Part time positions available

Mach Recruitment are looking for Hatchery Operatives for our client based in Morpeth, Northumberland.

The role:

As a Hatchery Operative your duties will be as followed:

· Ensure the welfare of day-old chicks

· Maintain the high standards of quality, hygiene, and animal welfare

· Gain a full understanding of poultry

· Chick take off, transfer and egg loading and unloading

· Adhere to all codes of practice and bird welfare

· General cleaning and tidiness of all areas inside and outside the hatchery, ensuring a high level of biosecurity

About you:

As a Hatchery Operative you will have the following skills and experience:

· Start immediately and looking for long term work

· Able to travel to Morpeth early in the mornings

· Previous experience not required

Qualifications:

· The site offers the opportunity to put you through your NVQ in Poultry Production where you will obtain a Poultry passport leading to the possibility of promotion.
