The Faculty Operations Manager posts will work closely within a team of Faculty Operations Managers, and with Professional Services across the University to ensure effective working practices, supporting the facilitation and coordination of service delivery for the Faculty. The postholders will play a key role in the Faculty’s strategic development, including contributing to the Strategic plan and supporting and reporting to the Head of Faculty Operations in its implementation.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals, with substantial experience of working within a senior operational management role and with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Experience of developing or enhancing administrative systems and proven analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential.

Post 1: Faculty Operations Manager (1FTE 12 months fixed term or available as a secondment opportunity for internal staff)

This post will have lead responsibility for a Faculty Portfolio incorporating Postgraduate taught programmes administration, Apprenticeship programme development, commercial/enterprise and new business portfolio development, tendering opportunities and finance; and Link Manager for the faculty’s School of Pharmacy and Bioengineering.

Post 2: Faculty Operations Manager (1FTE Indefinite)

This post will have lead responsibility for a Faculty Portfolio incorporating, management of the Faculty’s research office, research and engagement administration, partner and stakeholder engagement, grant opportunities, research finance administration; and Link Manager for the Faculty’s School of Allied Health Professions.
