Then come and join our Facilities Management Team.

We are recruiting for a Facilities Technician to join us on a 6 month fixed term contact. This is an ideal role for those starting out in Facilities Management or those looking to change careers. The successful applicant will assist the team in the daily operation of the Town Hall office and other local sites within the borough. Duties will include providing service and assistance to visitors and employees on site, health and safety monitoring, minor repair work and general handyman duties. We will support you with ongoing training in practical skills such as carpentry, software skills using our building management system software, and building cross departmental relationships to help keep the Council and local community operating.

You will be working on a rotational basis Monday to Friday covering four shifts; 6:30-14:30, 9:00 -17:00; 10:00-18:00; 14:00 – 22:00. On occasion there will be need to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service.
