At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Facilities Security Officer at our Forest Moor site.
The role
As a Facilities Security Officer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll manage the day to day running of the site front desk reporting directly to the Station Manager.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Escort contractors when required
- Manage the reception area (signing in / out visitors)
- Confirm contractor security clearances prior to site visits
- Manage collection / deliveries of parcels and post
- Ensure the visitor list is updated and sent to the relevant departments
This full time role is based onsite at our Forest Moor site.
Essential experience of the Facilities Security Officer:
- Minimum Higher Education
- IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills
Qualifications for the Facilities Security Officer:
- Minimum Higher Education
- Hold a valid full UK driving licence and have own transport
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who holds, or is able to achieve DV security clearance to continue working in this role, however, can start employment with SC clearance.
