We require an enthusiastic & self motivated Administrator to assist with the day to day administration of the Health & Safety, Environment, Quality and Facility matters within the Dextra Group and its Subsidiary Company’s.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Supporting the general Health & Safety, Environment, Quality and Facility functions, processes and various projects.
  • To ensure that all instrument calibration is kept up to date.
  • Co-ordinate the relevant paperwork for the control of contractors.
  • Collate all information on the companies energy usage.
  • Co-ordinate and book relevant training for Departmental Managers.
  • Log all accidents and Incidents reports and investigations.
  • Review and update the companies Standards register and Waste register.
  • Keep up to date the companies First Aid and Fire Marshal lists.
  • Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
  • Follow the requirements of the Company’s ISO Procedure.
  • Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.

Post Requirements

  • Relevant Administration experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Confidentiality at all times and in all matters.
  • Ability to communicate to all staff on a face to face basis.
  • Liaise with all departmental managers and ensure the Company complies with all relevant legislation at all times.
  • Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to challenge processes and look at opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Proactive and flexible approach.
  • Attention to detail.


  • Location: Gillingham Dorset SP8 4PX
  • Department: Facilities, Quality, Health & Safety
  • Hours: Full Time - 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
  • Report to: Facilities, Quality, Health & Safety Manager
