THE ROLE
The Role of Facilities Officer is to provide customer focussed support at the Grantham Office. This is a varied role, with the majority of responsibilities being some front of house, offering excellent customer service, paper and electronic record keeping and the ability to carry out basic maintenance. It also includes some porterage duties, work in our nearby Warehouse unit and assisting to maintain the building and facilities services to a high standard.
The hours are 37.5 per week, Mon – Fri covering a variety of shifts between 7.00am-3.30pm, 8.00am-4.30pm or 10.00am-6.30pm. There must be an ability to cover some weekend overtime for out of hours contractor works
THE CANDIDATE
You’ll be an organised individual with the ability to carry out administrative tasks and record keeping, such as driver checks for hire car/pool car users, completing and issuing Permits to Work for contractors, and preparing or updating Standard Operating Procedure documents.
Attention to detail is a key part of this role as such you will easily be able to keep on top of potential or emerging safety issues, cleanliness, and tidiness of the office environment to always maintain it to a professional standard.
You will have experience of carrying out basic maintenance or inspection tasks to maintain the building according to our Planned Preventative Maintenance regime and a sound knowledge of health and safety, such as DSE regulations and fire safety.
A full driving licence is essential, in order to move goods to and from our Warehouse by van.
