Primary purpose of position

· To support the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Maintenance Department

· To help maintain standards of Glenair buildings, grounds and fixtures

· Basic Maintenance duties

Main duties and responsibilities

· To carry out preventative maintenance procedures as required in accordance with the Company preventative maintenance plan

· To carry out building repairs as required

· Maintain the grounds of the buildings as requested

· Carry out decorating both internally and externally of all sites as required

· Undertake any additional duties as requested

· Undertake driving duties on behalf of the Company

Person specification

· Full UK driving license

· Good standard of education (GCSE’s or equivalent)

· Basic computer knowledge

· Awareness of, and adherence to, all Company Policies and Procedures

· Experience of working within a general maintenance background including plumbing, joinery/woodwork
