Facilities Engineer Westcott, Buckinghamshire Competitive salary plus benefits Introduction… Astute are seeking a Facilities Engineer to join the team at a Production Plant based in Westcott, with supporting the plant and ensuring it is running efficiently, by performing routine planned building and equipment maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Test, Facilities & HSE Manager, as a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for: Perform general site maintenance and repairs Installations of new appliances and equipment Fabrication and welding works Ensuring all facilities equipment, including tools and vehicles, are maintained Ensure all site safety systems are functional, including fire alarms & ventilation Undertake site projects work, such as test and productions facilities installations and commissioning Managing external contractors General cleaning and refurbishment Ensuring site safety is maintained, and completion of workplace ins and Risk Assessments Provide input on job costings, i.e. quotes, bids and proposals May be required to train as forklift/MEWP/telehandler operatorSkills & Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Competent in welding and fabrication - City and Guilds Level 2 minimum, Level 3 preferred, or similar structural welding qualification. ASME certification would be an advantage.
