The role

We are seeking to recruit a Facilities Assistant to provide essential support services at Wonford House site.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of facilities services to our ward. It’s a varied and challenging role which will see you involved in cleaning duties, checking equipment, and food service on a daily basis. It will be your job to ensure that every person using Devon Partnership Trust services enjoy a safe, clean and comfortable environment that supports their recovery.

In return we will provide full training, regular supervision, learning and development, plus a competitive salary which includes enhanced rates of pay for weekends and public holidays, and an excellent pension package.

The role operates on a shift pattern, this will discussed at interview.

About you

You will be working with various individuals and teams, helping to deliver high quality facilities services.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, good work ethic and be able to make decisions that ensure the safe running of our services. You will be positive, committed and be committed to delivering high standard services.

Ideally you will have up to date knowledge and awareness of health and safety, manual handling and food hygiene standards, although full training will be given.

You will be keen to use your skills and experience to help us continue to deliver our services. We will help you to grown in the role, and will offer the right candidates opportunities for training and development.

The important role you play will have a direct impact patient care and experience.
