Role:Facilities & Maintenance Technician: Electrical
Hours:Full-time
Salary:up to £28,000/pa (DOE)
Hollybank Trust is a charitable organisation with a national reputation for excellence, working with children and adults with complex physical and associated learning disabilities. Based in West Yorkshire, Hollybank trust provides education, residential and nursing care to over 100 children and adults.
Key role requirements:

  • To provide an efficient and punctual maintenance service support to all areas of the trust, ensuring that all buildings and grounds are kept in a good and safe state to convey a positive image of Hollybank trust and to provide a safe and pleasant environment for the Children, Young People and Adults in our care.
  • Upkeep/maintenance of the current fixed wire electrical system, varying roles including swapping socket fronts, replacing light fittings/light switches and other general electrical accessories, in the required Hollybank buildings, focus being on energy efficiency such as LED lights and PIR sensors.
  • Minor installations work from additional circuitry onto existing wiring systems, or new installations.
  • To Undertake, aid and support with basic maintenance tasks that are logged onto the maintenance system, which will be allocated to you.
  • To carry out general portage duties so that goods, furniture, beds, and equipment are transported or removed to the appropriate place within the required timescales and are available, using equipment available to aid.
  • There will be an on call rolling rota, where technicians will have the responsibility of rectifying and resolving any urgent maintenance or service disruptions on a weekend basis. Pending technician numbers this will be a once every 3-week responsibility. This covers from Friday PM through to Monday AM
