Job Description

Our client is a growing Facades, Curtain Wall and cladding sub-contractor, and they are looking for a motivated, conscientious individual, with the desire to work for an expanding company, and the drive to not only grow their individual knowledge and experience in the industry, but to use those skills to be a pivotal part of the company’s growth.

Candidates must be based in the UK and able to work full time in Southampton.

The ideal candidate will come from a similar background and must have facade and roofing experience.

Construction Planner Role:

·Involvement with Site Team in all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works.

·To liaise with the Client, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers on all matters relating to planning and attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetings.

·Assist in the management of change in regards to impact on programmes and progress.

·Provide the planning service on tenders and projects.

·Attend pre-contract meetings to explain the planning aspects of the contract.

·Monitor and prepare a progress report on the project programme.

·Maintain look ahead programmes and advise on implications to both Client & Project Team.

·Consider and discuss alternatives with the Project Manager.

·Implement Company procedures.

·Appraise, co-ordinate and integrate subcontract and design programmes.
