Summary

We are a Mechanical Engineering business based in Caerphilly, with clients from a variety of industries including manufacturing, automotive, food, pharmaceutical and recycling.
We are currently recruiting for a Fabricator Welder to join our team in a permanent position. As a Fabricator Welder, your main duties will consist of working within our workshop, producing bespoke designed fabrications including various welding processes.

Duties will include:
  • Working with Structural Steels & large diameter ducting
  • Completing full penetration butt welds, down hand and vertical fillet welds
  • Working to high tolerance quality specifications
  • Working to schedules with minimum supervision
Requirements
The successful applicant will have the following qualification, experience and attributes:
  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Qualifications in accordance with NVQ 2/3 or equivalent OR extensive proven experience
  • Previously coded to BS EN 9606 or 287
  • Able to work to high tolerance quality specifications to meet the following requirements ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001, BS EN 1090 and ISO 3834-2
  • Proven track record
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
Additional Requirements
  • Coded Welding Qualifications.
  • Full UK/EU Driver’s License.
