We work all over the UK, and may occasionally involve working overtime, nights and weekends. We have 7 fully equipped vans and 11 direct employees on site. Most of our team have been with us for over a decade.

We are currently looking for a site welder/erector/snagger to work alongside our experienced and long-standing employees.

We are looking for someone with experience in this field who is willing and able to work away from home with our experienced teams. We have developed a strong relationship and trust with our clients over many years, so a good quality, polite and professional service is required first time and every time.

Here at Mortimer’s we pride ourselves with being one of the few companies that bring this field of work to a professional level. Our staff hold many certificates such as Fillet and Butt weld certs, Slinger/Banksman, Telehandler licences, First Aid, PASMA, SSSTS, IPAF+ and many more. The training here at our company never stops progressing.

This personnel training, coupled with a qualified management team and company accreditations such as ISO9001 make it possible to attend high profile sites all over the UK.

Key Requirements Are
  • CSCS card (Blue or gold is preferable, with a welding or erecting background)
  • Ability to weld MMA would be an advantage
  • Full Drivers licence
  • Professional and safe attitude with a will to work as a team
  • Excellent time keeping
Upon Successful Application, We Provide
  • A good hourly rate of pay and negotiable according to level of skills (Sat x1.5, Sun x2, night’s x1.5)
  • 40 – 70 hours a week (average 50-60 hours a week)
  • Training paid by the company
  • Paid lodge and enhanced pay while working away from home
