A leading global (Re)Insurer is currently recruiting for a brand-new Underwriting Operations Manager vacancy.

This is a key hire for the business and this person will be responsible for:
  • Improving efficiency of Operations
  • Management of Underwriting Operations and management of Underwriting support members
  • Promoting improvement of productivity, service quality, data quality etc.
  • Overseeing operational management of all service providers
  • Working closely with the DA Manager
  • Key accountabilities include monitoring and ensuring underwriting support services are delivered to the agreed quality and defined service levels for 3rd Party Lines of Business that include Casualty, Financial Lines, Industry Practices, Corp Accident & Health, Medical Malpractice, Warranty & Indemnity, and Surety
  • The role holder will possess a strong collaborative and influential communication style and have proven relationship building skills within the insurance industry, across the business and their direct reports.
Skills & experience:
  • Proven experience of managing 3rd party lines of business, in particular Casualty
  • Experience of managing 3rd party BPO providers.
  • Management level Operations experience with a Lloyd’s Managing Agent/Insurance Co
  • Superior stakeholder management at all levels
