Anglo Pacific International has an exciting opportunity for an Export Coordinator to join their busy baggage sales department team in Wembley. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,500 per annum. Anglo Pacific International is one of the UK’s largest international removals & shipping company and handles around 20,000 individual baggage shipments and overseas removals annually. About the role: Our ideal Export Coordinator will have some experience in Freight or Shipping industries.

The job purpose is to finalise Sea, Courier, Air and Road shipments to destinations worldwide in a timely fashion and support the Baggage Sales Department as required. Responsibilities as our Export Coordinator, will include: - Calculating the shipping cost of non-tariff shipments - Liaising with trade colleagues and develop a working rapport with them - Visiting trade customers at their premises and further develop Trade sales (on occasion) - Responding to rate requests within 24 hours - Overseeing and administer all trade sales - Monitoring all trade groupage enquiries and shipments and cost accordingly - Ensuring the staff in the department carry out their functions in accordance with procedures - Monitoring performance of subordinate staff and instigate any corrective action - Dealing with and maintain claims records - Ensuring that the General Manager is advised of all claims both insured and un-insured - Notifying the General Manager of problems which could adversely affect the standards of service provided - Recognising potential marketing opportunities for the Company - Supporting department staff by answering all phone calls within 4 rings and connect the party to the correct contact - Adhering to departmental and other relevant procedures - Assisting other staff in department where necessary - Keeping management notified of any issues which may affect or enhance the Company’s performance - Maintaining confidentiality at all times - Representing company as deemed appropriate - Complying with Health and Safety legislation and the Health and Safety Policy and with the Environmental Policy - Supporting any further duties as may be requested by the company Our ideal Export Coordinator will have and be: - A Logical thinker - Have a good telephone manner - Meticulous in nature - Well organised - Computer literacy in MS Outlook, Word and Excel If you feel you have the necessary skills for the Export Coordinator role, click ‘apply’ today.
