This is a fantastic opportunity in a well-established, profitable fintech business working alongside a high calibre and supportive leadership team.

Chairman is looking for an aspiring Executive Assistant to help run the business. He is looking for an EA with excellent organisational skills who can juggle priorities and multiple assignments, who is detail orientated and is looking for a very collaborative relationship with their Principal. A CEO will be joining the team in the near future, the EA will support both the Chairman and CEO in due course. Ideally the EA needs to have some prior experience of project management, HR relating duties, strong business writing skills, and assisting a business to grow. Based in Lichfield office right next to Lichfield city train station you will be assisting the Principal in all aspects of growing the business as well as his involvement in other investments and tech start-ups. There is huge opportunity to grow in this role and shape it to be your own, the principle is a seasoned mentor and supports personal professional development. There will also be a strong focus on investor relations and shareholder management; confidentiality and professionalism are of upmost importance.

An individual with an interest in personal and professional development and a desire to have autonomy and take on responsibility in their role would be a plus. Must be excellent at building relationships, have an understanding of confidentiality and used to a fast-paced environment. This role is an opportunity to be an integral part of the organisation and a central turn point for the senior leadership team. We would love to hear from people who have a strong operational background, they may have an MBA, Law degree, Prince 2, but these are not essential criteria.

- Managing and monitoring inboxes

- Full diary management coordinating internal and external meetings in person and online

- Working with stakeholders to coordinate meetings and networking, often at short notice (Knowledge of London a plus)

- Organising domestic and international travel arrangements

- Keeping track of expenses

- Coordination across the Senior Management Team meetings and management of actions

- Helping to manage the office, some oversight of office management

- Working with the Board to produce agendas, minutes, keep track of follow-ups on actions

- Recruitment: drafting JDs, holding 1st interviews, contracts, onboarding etc.

- Writing business documentation such as business plans, investor memorandums

- Creating 1st draft presentations (knowledge of Powerpoint/inDesign a plus)

- Knowledge of business mergers, sales, or investment rounds a huge bonus

Requirements:

- 3+ years’ experience in fast-paced EA roles

- A team-focused and driven attitude

- Empathetic and team-oriented focus

- Confidence in decision making

- Excellent attention to detail

- Discretion and sensitivity

There is some flexibility in the role however predominantly it’s based in the office 4-5 days a week, 0900 – 1730. Some travel to London may be required, staying in 5* accommodation with use of 5* Mayfair members club. Opportunity for international travel.
