We are recruiting for an Ex Farm Tanker Driver!
We are currently recruiting an Experienced LGV C+E Ex-Farm Tanker Driverwho will collect milk from various farms within the local area and deliver to nominated dairies within the same vicinity.
Your challenge

Professional and reliable, you will help us provide an unbeatable service by collecting milk efficiently and on time, whilst maintaining DTAS standards. Driving a well-maintained, semi-automatic vehicle, you’ll feel well looked after with paid training, a good rate of pay and no long hauls or overnight stops.

Key skills & experience

  • Has a full LGV C+E licence
  • To have relevant CPC qualifications
  • Excellent timekeeping skills
  • A welcoming and polite individual that demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
  • Has an excellent professional approach with a positive customer focus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Can take a hands-on approach to solving issues
  • Previous Farm Rigid Tanker Driver experience is desired

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect raw milk from farms and deliver to dairy and/or reload sites
  • Haul reload tanks between reload sites and dairy
  • Cover the Inbound Yard when Yard Man is not on shift
  • Ensuring cleanliness of vehicle is maintained and vehicle is compliant
  • CIP’ing vehicle and ensuring vehicle is compliant with DTAS requirements
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required

Please note:
This position is for the right candidate to work five in seven rolling shift rota, including some weekends and Bank Holidays.
